1. Introduction
This Shift Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the expectations and consequences related to shift cancellations by dental clinics (“Clinics”) using the Tempfind Inc. (“Tempfind”) platform (“Platform”).
The purpose of this Policy is to ensure consistency, fairness, and professionalism in managing confirmed shift commitments—so that dental professionals can rely on Tempfind to support their careers and clinics can access a dependable pool of talent.

Tempfind is committed to creating a mutually respectful, reliable, and transparent staffing experience for both clinics and professionals. Just as professionals are held accountable for their commitments, we ask Clinics to maintain the same level of professionalism and communication when canceling confirmed shifts.
By honoring scheduled shifts or providing timely cancellation notice, Clinics help maintain trust and reliability in the platform—leading to higher-quality professionals, faster shift fulfillment, and stronger retention within our growing network.
2. Cancellation Responsibilities
Clinics using Tempfind are expected to uphold all confirmed shifts once a professional has been booked. Canceling shifts without sufficient notice may disrupt professionals’ income and damage trust in the platform.
3. Cancellation Procedure

Notice Requirement:
Clinics must cancel any confirmed shift at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled start time to avoid financial penalties. -
How to Cancel:
All cancellations must be made directly through the Tempfind platform.
Cancellations submitted by email, phone, or any external method will not be recognized as valid under this Policy. -
Cancellation Reason:
Clinics must include a valid reason when canceling a shift through the platform. This helps maintain accountability and transparency in shift records.
4. Consequences of Late Cancellations

Confirmed Shift Cancelled Less Than 24 Hours Before Start Time:

The clinic will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the shift total, payable to the affected professional as partial compensation for lost wages.

This applies to all account types.

Impact on Placement Fees (Pay Per Hire Accounts):

For Clinics using the Pay Per Hire model, the Tempfind placement fee is non-refundable, even if the shift is canceled.

Repeated violations may impact your account’s standing and visibility to top-rated professionals.

5. Appeal Process
Clinics may appeal any cancellation-related charges or policy decisions by submitting a written request to info@tempfind.com.
The Tempfind team will review the situation and may consult with the affected professional to determine a fair resolution.
