This Booking Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions governing the declination of booking requests by dental professionals (“Professionals”) on the Tempfind Inc. (“Tempfind”) platform (“Platform”). This Policy is designed to minimize the number of declinations by Professionals and to establish accountability to ensure that Professionals who open their availability dates fulfill their commitments.
By using the Platform, all registered dental professionals agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions of this Booking Request Policy.
Professionals are expected to manage their availability accurately and responsibly. Once a Professional opens their availability dates on the Platform, they commit to being available for bookings during those specified times. This will help all participants with smooth hiring and shift completion, positively impacting professional ratings and standings and eliminating unwanted hiring requests. Failure to honour these commitments will jeopardize the Professional’s rating and may result in consequences as outlined in this Policy.
4. Booking Request Consideration
When a dental clinic sends a booking request to a Professional through the Platform, the Professional is obligated to consider the request seriously and respond promptly. A Professional may decline a booking request only in exceptional circumstances, such as a personal emergency, unforeseen professional commitments, or health-related issues that prevent them from fulfilling the booking.
5. Declination Notification
We rely on Professionals’ due diligence to accept hire requests at any time you set you are available. We extend this trust to our promise to Dental Clinics to fulfill their temporary shifts according to your availability. In the unfortunate event of a Dental Professional declination of hiring requests sent for the appropriate time, Dental Professionals must provide a valid reason for declining a booking request. Tempfind reserves the right to review and validate the reasons provided. In any case, ignoring or declining booking requests sent for a time a Dental Professional is set as available will negatively impact the Professional rating displayed on the public profile page. That will also impact Professionals’ standing in search results for Dental Clinics.
6. Consequences of Frequent Declinations
Tempfind recognizes that Professionals may occasionally need to decline booking requests. However, frequent or unjustified declinations will negatively impact the Professional’s standing on the Platform. Tempfind reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including but not limited to reducing or suspending the Professional’s visibility in “Book a Professional” search results or, in case of systematic declinations – terminating the Professional’s access to the Platform indefinitely.
7. Appeals Process
Professionals have the right to appeal decisions made by Tempfind regarding consequences imposed due to frequent declinations. Appeals must be submitted in writing to Tempfind within seven (7) days of receiving notification of the consequences. Tempfind will review the appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Tempfind reserves the right to modify or amend this Booking Policy at any time. Registered Professionals will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
