Direct Recruitment Policy

1. Introduction

This Direct Recruitment Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions governing direct employment engagements between dental clinics (“Clinics”) and dental professionals (“Professionals”) who are introduced through the Tempfind Inc. (“Tempfind”) platform (“Platform”).

Tempfind is committed to supporting fair, ethical, and transparent relationships between all users. This Policy is intended to ensure that direct hires originating from connections made on the Platform are handled with integrity, and that Tempfind’s services are compensated fairly.

Note: Clinics using Tempfind’s HR Concierge Service (“HRC Service”) for guided recruitment, screening, and interview facilitation should also refer to the HR Concierge Service Policy, which governs those specific engagements. Both policies work in tandem to ensure a consistent and enforceable staffing framework.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Platform, all registered Clinics and Professionals agree to comply with and be guided by the terms outlined in this Policy. Continued use of the Platform and any direct employment engagements arising from it constitutes acceptance of these terms.

3. Clinic Responsibilities

3.1. Respecting Professional Relationships

Clinics are expected to respect the value Tempfind provides in connecting them with vetted Professionals. Offering, suggesting, or facilitating employment (including part-time, full-time, or contractor roles) outside of the Tempfind platform to Professionals originally discovered through Tempfind is strictly prohibited unless formal notification and payment of the Agency Finder Fee are made.

3.2. Agency Finder Fee

If a Clinic transitions a Professional into a direct employment or contractor relationship (outside of the Platform), the Clinic agrees to pay an Agency Finder Fee of $2,750 CAD per professional.

This applies whether the relationship began through direct use of the Platform or through the HR Concierge Service.

  • The Agency Finder Fee must be paid within 14 days of the direct hire decision.
  • Failure to comply may result in account suspension and administrative recovery actions.

3.3. Repeat Shift Offers to Professionals

3.3.1. Booking Recurring Professionals

If a Clinic wishes to offer a particular Professional found on Tempfind more frequent shift coverage—for example, once a week or a few times a month—the Clinic must request that the Professional open their booking availability within the app. Clinics should then book the Professional for all required days as many weeks or months in advance as needed. This ensures a transparent and reliable arrangement while utilizing Tempfind’s platform.

For professionals working multiple shifts at the same clinic on a recurring basis, all bookings must still go through the Tempfind platform, regardless of frequency.

3.3.2. Cost-Effective Solutions

For Clinics with frequent or ongoing temp needs, Tempfind offers a Business Membership Plan as part of its concierge and direct temp staffing services. This plan eliminates individual placement fees and allows unlimited monthly shifts at a low monthly rate. See our Pricing Page or speak with your account representative for details.

3.4. Introducing Tempfind's HR Concierge Service

Due to high demand from existing clinics seeking assistance in finding professionals for ongoing engagements, Tempfind offers a dedicated HR Concierge Service to support Clinics seeking contract-based or trial-to-hire Professionals. 3.5. Transparency and Communication

If a clinic intends to hire a Tempfind Professional directly, we encourage open communication with Tempfind. Our team is here to help facilitate the transition smoothly while ensuring compliance with this Policy.


4. Professional Responsibilities

4.1. Why Tempfind Benefits You

Tempfind offers Professionals access to vetted clinics, a steady flow of temp opportunities, performance incentives, and visibility tools. Continued engagement on the Platform helps you grow your professional reputation and increase your earning potential.

4.2. Reporting Direct Offers

If a clinic offers you a direct shift outside of Tempfind App that results in a confirmed shift, we ask that you notify Tempfind so we can log that shift in your account. This will increase your total shift count, which improves your priority placement in search results and enhances your visibility to clinics.

Maintaining an accurate shift count helps us ensure fair access to top opportunities and rewards professionals who actively engage on the platform.

4.3. Repeat Shift Request from Clinics

If a Clinic expresses interest in offering you more frequent shifts—for example, once a week or several times a month—we ask that you open the relevant dates in your booking availability calendar within the app. Direct the Clinic to book you for those days through Tempfind. This ensures a clear and structured arrangement while maintaining the benefits of using the Platform.


5. General Terms for All Users

5.1. Tempfind as an Open Marketplace

Tempfind supports career growth and long-term opportunities. If a direct employment relationship arises, we simply request that the Agency Finder Fee be honored, whether initiated through regular Platform use or the HR Concierge Service.

This fee reflects Tempfind’s investment in candidate vetting, platform management, and connection facilitation.

5.2. Fairness and Compliance

To maintain a positive and respectful community, Tempfind reserves the right to enforce these terms by taking necessary legal or administrative action, including but not limited to:

  • Suspending platform access for Clinics or Professionals found in violation.
  • Applying penalty fees in case of non-compliance with direct hire procedures.
  • Taking legal recourse in cases of repeated or deliberate violations.

6. Appeals Process

We understand that unique situations may arise, and users are welcome to appeal decisions related to this Policy. Appeals can be submitted in writing to Tempfind within seven (7) days of receiving notice of an action. We will carefully review and respond promptly.

7. Policy Updates

Tempfind may update this Direct Recruitment Policy as needed to better serve our users. Any changes will be communicated to registered users, and continued use of the Platform signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
