Payment Policy

Effective Date: September 2, 2024 (updated)

1. Introduction
This Payment Policy (“Policy”) outlines the various payment plans available to dental clinics (“Clinics”), as well as the procedures for invoicing and payment process on the Tempfind platform (“Platform”). This Policy is designed to provide clarity and guidance regarding financial transactions conducted through the Tempfind platform. This Policy is a legally binding agreement between Tempfind and Clinics utilizing its services. By continuing to use Tempfind services, Clinics agree to abide by the terms outlined in this Policy.

2. Payment Plans
Clinics whose free trial has ended are required to select one of the following payment plans:

  • Pay-Per-Hire Plan: This plan allows Clinics to post job vacancies, accept or decline applicants, or search and book professionals for a Tempfinder Fee (“Placement fee”) of $49 (plus applicable tax) per completed shift.
  • Essential Plan: Priced at $99 a month (plus applicable taxes), this plan enables Clinics to post job vacancies, accept or decline applicants, or search and book professionals with no limit on the number of monthly hires.
3. Payment Form
Clinics can pay with a credit/debit card. Credit/Debit cards payments are processed by Stripe, and Clinic must agree to the Stripe terms and conditions prior to using the Tempfind platform.
4. Payments to Professionals
Upon completion of a Shift, the Professional is required to submit their hours through the Platform, and the Clinic must confirm these hours within 24 hours. if the Clinic does not dispute the hours within that timeframe, they will be auto-approved and deemed correct and payable, and in the event that the Professional is directed to leave early without their own fault, the Professional remains entitled to compensation for the originally scheduled hours. 5. Invoices
All invoices are final and payable unless disputed. No disputes shall be accepted after 10 days from receipt of an invoice. Tempfind will generate an electronic invoice after each completed shift.  The invoice will identify the name of the Professional, the date and Shift time worked by the Professional, and the applicable hourly rate. All payment transactions are handled through Stripe, ensuring secure and efficient processing of payments.
6. Deadline
Clinic will be charged a processing fee of ($10 CAD) if invoices are paid with credit cards. Clinic is required to pay Tempfind the entire invoice amount within 24-48 hours following receipt of an invoice. Failure to make a timely payment shall result in Tempfind’s discretion to change an interest penalty of 1.5% per month, for each month or part thereof on the outstanding amount invoiced (not to exceed the highest rate allowed by law) until all amounts owed, including the interest, have been paid in full, or an automatic withdrawal of the amount owed on the fifth (5th) business day after the agreed upon payment terms have passed.
7. Costs and Expenses
If Tempfind incurs costs or expenses to collect its fees or other sums due under this Policy or to enforce any non-monetary terms of this Policy or as a result of Clinic’s default under this Policy, Clinic agrees to pay to Tempfind any and all such costs and expenses (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees and disbursements) incurred by Tempfind in connection therewith.
8. Suspension and Termination
Tempfind reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Clinic’s or any of its Authorized Users’ access or use of the Platform if the Clinic fails to make a timely payment per this Policy. Any failure by Tempfind to assert a right or provision of this Section shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

9. Applicable Taxes
All Tempfinder Fees and charges mentioned herein are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added to the Clinic’s total amount payable in the Stripe Payment form.

10. Amendments to the Policy
Tempfind reserves the right to modify or amend this Payment Policy at any time. Registered Clinics will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
