How to Post a Shift on Tempfind

Creating a job posting

To create a job posting, you should click the Find a Temp button in the main navigation panel on the application and selecting the Post a Shift option. There is also ‘Post a Shift’ call to actions in various sections across the application. You can use those for the same purpose.

The system will redirect you to the Post a Shift page where you should fill all information that outlines your requirements for the shift:

  • What position the shift is for
  • Shift date and time slot
  • Lunch information
  • Your preferred hourly rate you are willing to accept
  • How you wish to pay to professional
  • Additional details

Please be advised that we require a valid payment method to post a shift, to facilitate all required payments upon successful shift completion.

Once all information is provided, please click Publish Shift to submit your shift to the system. In case you forgot something or filled wrong information, the system will point it out by highlighted respective fields in red.

Voila, your shift is posted and dental professionals within vicinity are notified to start applying.

How job postings work

First of all, you post a shift, outlining all shift details (date and time, profession, lunch information, maximum hourly rate you are ready to accept, payment preferences).

Dental professionals within your clinic’s vicinity will receive a notification about a new job available; they can also find your shift using Find a Shift functionality in their application.

Dental professionals open the job your posted, view job requirements and information about your practice, and decide to proceed with applying or skipping it. Please be advised that dental professional can apply with hourly rate that is up to $5/h higher than the preferred rate you set during your job posting submission. It is to provide flexibility for best professionals who feel that their experience and expertise can bring more value. It is still up to you to accept or decline such candidates.

If a dental professional applies, you will receive a notification about new candidate for your shift. Please be advised that dental professionals have an ability to select when their job application will expire, so their application will not be available for you indefinitely. We strongly encourage you to review candidates at your first chance to make sure you don’t miss a a great fit for your shift.

You open the shift you posted and view all candidates who applied. Once you selected the best match, you should accept the candidate to secure your shift. The candidate will receive the confirmation upon your acceptance and will not be able to find, apply or accept other booking requests for that day with other clinics.

The accepted professional will also receive shift reminders to facilitate smooth and trouble free shift completion.
